PanurgyOEM Appointed as Official U.S. Service Agent for YASHICA, FINECAM and KYOCERA Cameras

To:      Kyocera Finecam Digital Camera or
            Yashica Film Camera Owners and Dealers

(March 21, 2005)  Kyocera Optics, Inc. recently announced a change as to where all customer repair requests and related camera shipments should be addressed. This change became effective as of March 21, 2005. From this date onward, all customer requests for repairs, repair estimates, camera shipments and all related payments must be sent to PanurgyOEM, the authorized North American service agent for Kyocera Optics. If you would like to have your Kyocera Finecam digital camera or Yashica film camera repaired, please take the following steps:

  1. Print your name, address, telephone number, email address and a brief description of the problem that the camera is experiencing.
  1.  If the camera is still under warranty, include a copy of your sales receipt.  PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL WARRANTY REPAIR WORK REQUIRES THIS SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION.
  1. For cameras under warranty:  Send the items listed in #1 and #2 above with your Kyocera Finecam digital camera or Yashica film camera to:

  1. For cameras no longer covered by warranty:  If the camera’s warranty has expired, please contact Panurgy OEM before shipping your camera to obtain the charges involved in the repair. You must first approve the estimate and provide payment in order to have your camera repaired.
  1. When the repair is completed, your camera will be shipped back to you via ground transportation. Faster shipping services are available for an additional fee.
